The multi-hyphenated Matt Mirams, grew up with a profound love of film and embarked on his cinematic journey in the early 90s.

His roles include writer, producer, director, and actor. Based in Melbourne, Matt is the driving force behind Breeding Ground Productions which has won over 100 awards for its films.

What sets Matt apart is his distinctive brand of black humour, weaving wit and satire into narratives while exploring the human condition. Looking towards the future there is a lot on the plate for Breeding Ground Productions, so I hope you’re hungry!

Fab started his career working on the set of 2001’s Wet Hot American Summer starring Bradley Cooper and Paul Rudd. He is a film nerd and loves zombie films, he met Matt Mirams in 2020 and hit it off immediately.

He is also an incredible photographer, shooting all of the stills for Residence and working with actors creating the perfect headshots for them.

And all the graphic design that you see from Residence is also him, there isn’t much the man can’t do… oh actually, he can’t act.

Jeanette is first generation Australian with her parents having migrated from Italy with their families. Since graduating the Professional Full-Time Acting for Television Program at Film TVSI in 2021, Jeanette has been cast in various roles in a number of independent feature films including Breeding Ground Productions' "Residence" and Taymaynari Productions' "Disconnected".

Coming from an extensive theatre background, Jeanette has recently trained with esteemed industry professionals such as Kym Valentine, Scott Major and Damian Walshe-Howling.

Production Manager

Alison has an exceptional creativity and unique perspective, with an impressive background in graphic and textile design spanning over 20 years. With her intrinsic sense of design and a keen eye for detail, Alison has successfully transitioned into the world of film as production designer, costume designer, creative director and props master.

Alison's passion for British comedy and Japanese animation adds a distinct flavour to her work, often resulting in visually striking and thought-provoking productions. The influence of these artistic styles is evident in her work, as she effortlessly combines their striking visuals and unique storytelling techniques. With the love of zombies, her latest project “Residence” by Breeding Grounds Productions, was a dream come true as she was both production manager and a hungry bloody zombie.

Line Producer | Actor

Tim Long has dabbled in the arts for the past twenty-five years, mostly on stage either directing or acting which he has received numerous awards and nominations for both. He first starred in 2012 in Breeding Ground Productions’ Fighting Chance playing Death and then went on to act in six more films. His latest role is of Ishmael the Undependable in the upcoming Residence. Tim is also an accountant and handles all Breeding Grounds documents and bookkeeping.

Andre started his musical career at the age of fifteen experimenting with cassettes and analogue recorders. He is now a multi-instrumentalist and has recorded several albums. His passion now is creating audio for film and working in the post production side of things.
