Welcome to Frankston is a heartfelt comedy-drama meta mockumentary about dreams, failure, friendship, and the unexpected power of coming home.

After spending twenty-five years in Los Angeles chasing Hollywood success, struggling actor Chris returns to his hometown of Frankston. Once convinced he was destined for stardom, Chris left home believing he was meant for something bigger. But despite a handful of small acting roles and a starring performance in the D grade cult zombie film Brain Zombie, which inexplicably became a hit in parts of South America, his Hollywood dream never truly materialised. Now, older and disillusioned, Chris arrives back in Frankston carrying little more than a suitcase, a lifetime of regrets, and the lingering hope that he hasn't completely failed.

Sometimes you have to leave home to find it.
